We offer a small class size to allow for a more relaxed learning environment and to provide individualized instruction. All classes are taught by highly experienced healthcare providers. We also offer a full line of eLearning courses to meet the needs of our students. The Challenge course is self-study and designed for independent learning, Registered Nurses may challenge the course by completing the required precourse modules, attending the psychomotor skills testing portion of the course over a Zoom call and completing the online exam within 7 days of the challenge.

Those who successfully challenge the course receive their 4-year verification and 9.00 contact hours.

If you ordered an eBook, access codes will be emailed within 24-48 hours when orders are placed between 8:00 AM–5:00 PM Monday–Thursday Central Daylight Time. If order placed on a Friday after 12 PM Central Daylight Time or on a Holiday, access code will be emailed within 24-48 hours of the next business day.

Please note registration emails for the precourse modules will not be sent on weekends, as we are not in the office.

TNCC Course Description

About TNCC

Every second counts when stabilizing life-threatening trauma cases. This course, taught by qualified nurses, prepares you with the knowledge, critical thinking skills and training needed to provide high-quality trauma nursing care. After completing this course, you will be able to properly assess patients and implement evidence based interventions to improve outcomes for them. Here’s a glimpse into what you’ll learn:

• The latest trauma nursing practice recommendations

• Systematic assessment and standardized approach to trauma nursing care

• Rapid identification of life-threatening injuries

Course Format

A variety of learning methodologies are included to cater to every learning style, including:

• Provider manual

• Online modules

• Instructor-led classroom discussions and skill stations

• Virtual courses available

Manual: The provider manual includes evidence-based content developed by experts in trauma care. A valuable resource for future reference.

Pre-course learning: Includes access to required online modules prior to the course date to let you learn at your own pace, apply what you learn, and receive immediate feedback. Modules include a step-by-step breakdown of the Trauma Nursing Process and a comprehensive study guide.

Instructor-led classroom discussions and skills stations: TNCC is typically delivered over one-and-a-half days. Live, in-person or virtual classroom learning includes skill stations, group discussion and other interactive exercises.

Electronic testing: Electronic open-book testing enables you to test in an environment that makes you most comfortable. No more test anxiety!

• Only registered nurses are eligible for provider status.

ENPC Course Description

About ENPC

Accurate assessment of a child with acute illness or injury requires special knowledge and skills. This course, taught by qualified nurses, is designed to provide the core-level pediatric knowledge and skills needed to properly assess and implement evidence-based interventions to improve outcomes for this high-risk patient population.

Course Format

How can I become an American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) Instructor with HeartTraining, LLC?

Three simple steps:

1. Enroll in an Instructor Candidate Screening and have a completed Instructor Candidate Application on file upon successful completion of the screening. You will need to have a current American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) provider card and be proficient in cognitive and psychomotor skills of Adult and Infant CPR to enroll.

2. Successfully complete the BLS One Day Instructor Course after successful completion of the Instructor Candidate Screening.

3. Successfully be monitored teaching your first BLS Initial Provider course within 6 monhs of completing the BLS One Day Instructor Course.
